WAC: Women Active for Christ

Our church has been blessed to have a great group of Ladies Active for Christ (WAC).

These ladies are not only active in many things in the church, but they also raise thousands of dollars each year for Free Will Baptist Missionaries.  The money they raise is used to help missionaries stay in their countries and continue with their calling to reach the lost for Christ.

If you would like to be a part of this ministry there are many opportunities for you.

Current Activities for WAC:

• Monthly Meeting: Every 1st Sunday of the month at 5:00 p.m. the ladies meet at the Church for event planning

• Ladies Night Out: Every 2nd Tuesday of the month the ladies go out to one of the local restaurants for dinner and fellowship.

• Secret Sister: Each lady who chooses to participate draws a name of one of their Sisters in Christ.  She is asked to pray and encourage her sister through out the year.  Then each Holiday bring a small gift for her sister.  At the end of the year each Secret Sister is Revealed.

• Secret Big Sister: This ministry is used to encourage our many young ladies in the Church.  If you would like to participate in this program you are given a name of one of our High School or College age ladies in the church.  Through out the year you are asked to first pray for this sister, then get to know her and help her feel at home in the Church.

A Mission to Believe in:

We understand that Women love to spend time together. We are natural “socializers” and enjoy being a part of each other’s lives. Wac is the perfect way to help women connect with each other, grow in their faith, help one another in times of crisis, and come together to make a difference in our community and the world.
